La Spaziale S.p.A. was founded in 1969 by people with outstanding experience since 1947 in the Espresso Coffee Machines Branch. They created machines based on quality and innovation. Nowadays the company still believes in the original concepts, developing the same philosophy and committing itself every day to achieving a high level of quality through advanced technical solutions.
In addition, all La Spaziale machines have a unique patented heat exchange system for heating water used for espresso delivery. It uses STEAM! instead of the conventional hot water heat exchange. Steam is always at a consistent temperature. The steam is used to heat a small individual boiler for each group ensuring a constant temperature of water as it reaches the coffee, regardless of number of drinks produced. Most coffee has a sweet spot of 94 degrees, with noticeable differences in taste for every degree either side of the sweet spot. The La Spaziale system can hit the spot every time ensuring consistently good coffee. It uses less power and reduces lime scale build up. Some models have electronic temperature control to fine tune the group head temperature to match the blend of coffee.
The S40 Seletron is fully automatic with 4 programmable dose controls per Group with a manual free flow override function, which is available on most high quality commercial coffee machines. Most choices these days are for automatic. However, there is the semi-automatic Elettrik free flow version if required. As well as standard height, the Seletron is available in Takeaway Height (T.A.). Machines come in 2 – 4 Group with 10, 15 and 20 Litre Boilers respectively.
Many of the various optional build extras are standard on the S40 range. The only one not included as standard is the addition of a third fully automatic foaming Steam Arm with adjustable temperature control cut off. It also comes in a multitude of colours.

My La Spaziale s40 is a very good machine and was excellent value for money, thank you to Beanmachines for giving me real value for money.
I researched quite in depth before I bought this machine as it was a big investment for my business. Even so I was shown this machine by Matthew at Beanmachines and he went through the facts of how this differed from what I had been looking at.
They sold both machines that I was interested in however he convinced me that I didnt need the more expensive one. I really appreciated his honesty and do not feel at all like I have compromised at all as this machine has been the right choice.
The staff love the steam arm and our milk quality has gone up since our old machine (that might be the training too).
The coffee is perfect every time with the temperature specific group heads.
The cleaning feature has also been useful there are no excuses for it not to be kept clean now.
I went for it in black a safe bet. The S40 is the best coffee machine I have ever worked on and I am very happy with the results.

This machine is amazing. We switched to Beanroasters for coffee around six months ago and then went to them for a machine when we took over another coffee shop but their machine was, lets say passed its best.
The coffee tastes even better than it does in our first shop. We really wanted to make an impact in the new place as there are quite a lot of cafes near us and even a Costa. The S40 has helped us to compete and now we have a great reputaion after only our first few months of opening.
We went for the Seletron S40 machine in white an it really makes an imact when people walk into our place.
We are doing about one and a half times our forecasted daily sales and I am convinced the machine has played a massive part in this.
I wont ever leave Beanmachines they are a real asset to my business and are a pleasure to work with.
